প্রথম কদম

 

প্রথমেই যেটা জেনে নিতে হবে যে, WBCS পরীক্ষা  ওয়েস্ট বেঙ্গল পাবলিক সার্ভিস কমিশনের মাধ্যমে নেওয়া হয়ে থাকে। সাধারণত আমরা কম্পিটেটিভ এক্সামের প্রস্তুতি নিতে গিয়ে জেনারেল নলেজের বই খুলে বসি এবং বহুবিধ বিষয় নিয়ে পড়াশোনা করতে থাকি। কিন্তু PSC পরিচালিত WBCS পরীক্ষা  দিতে গেলে প্রথমেই যেটা মনে রাখতে হবে এই পরীক্ষায় বিষয়ভিত্তিক প্রশ্ন এসে থাকে। যেটা বলার অপেক্ষা রাখে না যে wbcs পরীক্ষা তিনটি স্তরে হয় -- প্রিলিমিনারি, মেন্স এবং ইন্টারভিউ। প্রিলিমিনারি এবং মেইন্স উভয় ক্ষেত্রেই বিষয়ভিত্তিক প্রশ্নপত্র এসে থাকে।  প্রিলিমিনারি পরীক্ষায় আটটি সাবজেক্ট এর উপর কোশ্চেন থাকে। সাবজেক্ট গুলি হল :

১) ইংরেজি (২৫ মার্কস)

২) মেন্টাল এবিলিটি ( পাটিগণিত) (২৫ মার্কস)

৩) ভারতের প্রাচীন ইতিহাস (২৫ মার্কস)

৪) ভারতের স্বাধীনতা সংগ্রাম (২৫ মার্কস)

৫) ভারতের ভূগোল ( পশ্চিমবঙ্গের ভূগোল গুরুত্ব সহকারে)  (২৫ মার্কস)

৬) ভারতীয় কূটনীতি ও ভারতীয় অর্থনীতি (২৫ মার্কস)

৭) সাধারণ বিজ্ঞান (২৫ মার্কস)

৮) সাম্প্রতিক ঘটনা সমূহ (২৫ মার্কস)

মেন্স পরীক্ষাতে ডেস্ক্রিপটিভ উত্তর লিখতে হয়। তবে তা শুধুমাত্র অপশনাল পেপার এর ক্ষেত্রে। কম্পালসারি পেপারগুলি বাংলা ও ইংরেজি বাদে মাল্টিপল চয়েস হয়ে থাকে। এই মাল্টিপল চয়েসের সাবজেক্ট গুলি হল, ভারতীয় ইতিহাস, ভারতীয় ভূগোল, ভারতীয় সংবিধান এবং ভারতীয় অর্থনীতি ও রিসার্ভ ব্যাঙ্ক, সাধারণ বিজ্ঞান, পাটিগণিত, সাম্প্রতিক ঘটনা সমুহ  ও সাধারণ জ্ঞান। এ গ্রুপ এবং বি গ্রুপের জন্য একটি অপশনাল পেপার থাকে। সি এবং ডি গ্রুপের জন্য কোন অপশনাল থাকেনা।

ইন্টারভিউ এর বিষয়ে পরবর্তীকালে আমি ভিডিও পোস্ট করবো। পরবর্তীকালে পেজ বাড়াবো এবং সেখানে বিভিন্ন ধরনের আলোচনা করব। বিভিন্ন সাবজেক্টের কোশ্চেন নিয়ে আলোচনা কর,  কোশ্চেন দেবো তার উত্তরও দিয়ে দেব।

FIRST STEP

First thing to know is that WBCS exam is conducted by West Bengal Public Service Commission. Usually, while preparing for competitive exams, we open general knowledge books and study various topics. But the first thing to keep in mind while appearing for WBCS exam conducted by PSC is that there are subject wise questions in this exam. It goes without saying that the wbcs exam is in three levels -- preliminary, mains and interview. Both prelims and mains come with subject wise questions. The preliminary exam consists of questions on eight subjects. The subjects are:

1) English (25 Marks)

2) Mental Ability (Arithmetic) (25 Marks)

3) Ancient History of India (25 Marks)

4) Indian Freedom Struggle (25 Marks)

5) Geography of India (Geography of West Bengal with emphasis) (25 Marks)

6) Indian Diplomacy and Indian Economy (25 Marks)

7) General Science (25 Marks)

8) Current Affairs (25 Marks)

Descriptive answer is to be written in mains exam. But it is only in case of optional paper. Compulsory papers are multiple choice except Bengali & English. The subjects of this multiple choice are Indian History, Indian Geography, Indian Constitution and Indian Economy & Reserve Bank of India, General Science, Arithmetic and Current Affairs & General Knowledge. There is an optional paper for Group A and Group B. There is no optional for group C and D.
